Dr. Mesia is a great doctor. He’s very personable, friendly, and shakes your hand before even starting. His staff is awesome—everyone is really nice and welcoming. It’s always a very pleasant experience here, and I’ve referred lots of people.

Dr. Mesia walked me through the entire crown procedure and explained exactly what he was going to do. As he worked, he talked me through each step, letting me know what he was doing and how. He told me to raise my hand if I felt uncomfortable—but I never did. It was a very easy and pleasant procedure.

This time, he used a new technology called Waterlase. It’s much less invasive, with no grinding noise or vibration. As he worked, I kept thinking, “What’s going on?” because it was so different from my past dental experiences. I felt comfortable the whole time and didn’t even realize when he had finished. There was no bleeding or pain—it was amazing. I’ve never had a procedure like that before, and I’ve been going to the dentist for years.

We set up a plan to do a quarter of my mouth at a time. I had four crowns placed in total, and now all my crowns are complete. I just come in for cleanings now, which is great. Since getting the crowns, I can’t even tell they’re there—no discomfort, no sensitivity, nothing. It feels like I have my original teeth again.

Each crown took about an hour to place, and after that, you come back for the finished crown to be set.
